DriveWing is developed by Docco Labs. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: Docco Labs operates no servers and receives no data from this app.

We collect nothing

DriveWing has no account system, no login, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash-reporting service. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. There is no server operated by Docco Labs for this app to send anything to.

Data the app uses on your device

Location. DriveWing uses your iPhone’s location and motion sensors to power the dashboard. Speed, heading, elevation, trip distance and trip time are all calculated on your device. If you turn on the street address display, your coordinates are reverse-geocoded using Apple’s own Core Location service; see Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Settings and layout. Your unit preference, theme, tile layout, and other preferences are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Data that leaves your device

The app contacts one third-party service. It is listed below with what is sent and why.

Weather lookup: api.open-meteo.com Used to display the temperature tile. Your current latitude and longitude are sent to Open-Meteo to look up the local temperature. No name, account, or device identifier is attached to the request. See Open-Meteo’s terms.

Tracking

DriveWing does not track you. We do not use your data for advertising, do not share it with data brokers, and do not link it to your identity across apps or websites.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date above.
